so the awards thing was a week ago. collectively, my company won a bunch, more than any other group there. we pretty much rocked. there was much drinking/revelry and such. i was happy to have my companies name on my nametag, and i was happy for free alcohol. i now know i hate all martinis, whether they be of gin or vodka. those girly drinks with apples and chocolate may be in a martini glass-but they are not martinis kids. i'd probably like them. gin is the devil's water!
its been snowing more. it clears up for a day or few and then here it goes again. its been this way since Christmas. this week it was so cold (8-25 for lows & highs) the snow that fell was like floating frost. no stickiness to it. like dandelion fluff, it was white and dry and a little angelic and not as dangerous.
i made this desktop image a couple of weeks ago, and since i have some peeps in the neighborhood that are hanadan/arashi fans, i thought i'd post it for everyone. feel free to spread it around. i got the photos off... d-addicts? i think? oh well. its made for widescreens, and my monitor is pretty big, so its pretty hi-res. enjoy!
